Travis Bowen Talks More About "The Girl"

In an article at ValleyMag.com, The Girl director Travis Bowen talks about his latest movie and reveals more information about the production, including:

• The movie will finish shooting in early October.
• The film is shot mostly in Mahoning Valley.
• Bowen hopes to release the movie in time for the Halloween season.
• The trailer will premiere at the Dark X-Mas horror con.

Lindsay Will be Special Guest at Dark XMas Con

The website for Dark Xmas, an Ohio horror convention, is stating that Lindsay Felton will be one of the special guests at the con. The con will be held September 17-19 at the Eastwood Expo Center in Niles, Ohio.

If you are a fan of Lindsay, and you live in the area, this is your chance to meet her.

A news article has more details on The Girl, the new indie horror movie Lindsay Felton is staring in. Here is what Travis Bowen, the director/producer of this movie had to say about Lindsay:

“I knew if I could get [Lindsay] in this movie as a leading character she could really shine again. On ‘Scream Queens,’ she was compared to a Jamie Lee Curtis, and for a horror movie, you can’t get much better than that.”

The other stars in this movie will be Corey Haim of Lost Boys fame, and Playboy cover model Lisa Neeld.

Horror movie seeks extras

An independent horror movie that will be shot in the Mahoning Valley over the summer is looking for performers.

The cast for ''The Girl'' will feature Corey Haim (''The Lost Boys''), Lindsay Felton (Nickelodeon's ''Caitlin's Way''), C.J. Graham (Jason from ''Friday The 13th: Jason Lives'') and Playboy model Lisa Neeld of Cortland.
